Natural alternatives to administrative violence
Bostock, William W. (1995) Natural alternatives to administrative violence. In: First World Congress on a Holistic Approach to Business Mangement: Proceedings. . University of Western Sydney, Westmead, N.S.W., pp. 141-149. ISBN 1 86341 196 8 AbstractViolence is the use of force. Where violence is used in administration, a special category of administrative violence can be identified. Sometime the use of violence in administration is justified, rationally and morally, but there are always costs involved. Many leaders have found the avoidance of violence to be more effective, economical and productive of lasting solutions. Natural therapy provides a metaphor for administration: the treatment by non-violent means of problems before they become entrenched, in accordance with the principles of nature, namely balance, sustainability, and harmonious self-regulation.
