It accuses George Washington Walker of misusing the Society's funds and then slandering it. On the outside of the letter under the heading 'Records of a Slanderer and an Ingrate' is a statement that it is a lie put about by Mather 'a man whom above most in the colony George Washington Walker has sought to befriend'.
