(2003). Identification: D 7–10, A 11–12, P 14–18, vertebral count 53–56
(McDowall & Frankenberg 1981). Small scaleless salmoniform fish,
maximum size: 240 mm TFL, 130 g (Hardie 2003). Colouration: golden
to olive-green on dorsal surface and sides, silvery-grey on ventral surface.
Back and sides are covered with round to oval black spots
