The app nows looks for configuration in ~/.config if no configuration
file is explicitly specified. If the default configuration isn’t found,
a default configuration file is copied into ~/.config.

This means we no longer have to change the dates every year! Note that this does imply that the scripts now always generate output for the current year, so you can’t run them ahead of time (e.g., in December).
