However, Australia has many unique and important marine ecosystems and species that are likely to be sensitive to climate change. The endemism of marine organisms (species found nowhere else) is very high along Australia’s southern coastline. However, Australia has many unique and important marine ecosystems and species that are likely to be sensitive to climate change. The endemism of marine organisms (species found nowhere else) is very high along Australia’s southern coastline.
